Fantastic article. And the reference to Reed Hastings at Netflix was sublime.

IMHO we “tolerate” these people because we’ve come to glorify phrases like “Unicorns” and “Disruptors” beyond all comprehension and sanity. The cult of the “Celebrity CEO” is dangerous.

I’d be interested in your POV on my post about “Culture as a Disruptor” where I reference Netflix, Zappos and Patagonia as organizations who get it right — and are all Disruptors.
