Having read your recent LinkedIn piece on the strategy & culture symbiosis (versus the misquoted Drucker missive about "breakfast") I'm curious why some many Executives appear to obsess over strategy and then glibly pay minimal attention to culture. Appreciate i'm making a sweeping generalization (perhaps) but it often appears that strategy is deemed critical, sexy and worthy of 3-day off-sites. While culture is poorly understood and often dropped in the lap of HR to miraculously take care of. No doubt the Executive Teams who see both as equally critical will increase their chances of success, yet few seem to. Strategy is on a pedastal. Culture is kept in the closet with the cleaning materials. I'd love your POV on this. Thank you for your commitment to raising the strategy bar.
